Did you know children can get cavities? When I took my boy to the dentist for the very first time, he was three and a half years old (I understand, I procrastinated on this). Do kids typically have cavities this young?” He stated, “I see babies at age two with cavities.”

Some people have made comments about me not giving my kids candy; as if I am taking away part of their childhood or something. I think certain people associate kids and candy WAY too often. For my kids, less sugar means more concentration.
My kids do get lots of sweets, but they get them in the form of fruit. They will eat any kind of fruit I put in front of them. And, they get fruit for dinner, lunch and breakfast. If I put sweet and fruit in front of them, I am 99% positive they will select the fruit.
